Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This past January snow reminded us that winter still has a strong grip on our region! While we were disappointed that we could not gather in person and driving conditions were affected, we were deeply thankful for God’s provision through technology. Even in the midst of cold weather, the warmth of our fellowship continued.
I am especially grateful for our worship team, who faithfully ministers to our church family through our online service and faithfully every Sunday leading us in worshipping the Living God. Your dedication and heart for the Lord are such a blessing to our congregation. Thank you for serving with excellence and humility.
I also want to thank each of you for your continued prayers and your sacrificial giving week after week. Your faithfulness makes ministry possible and reflects your love for Christ and His church. We are truly thankful for you. Your generosity, encouragement, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
We also rejoice in the new visitors God has brought to us. It is a joy to see new faces and to welcome new brothers and sisters into our church family. Please continue to pray that they would feel loved, encouraged, and rooted in Christ here at Faith of Phoenixville.
We are looking forward with great excitement to our first church event of the year on February 28 — our Family Game Night and Potluck! This will be a wonderful opportunity to laugh together, share a meal, and strengthen our fellowship. I hope every family can join us for this special evening.
As we come to the conclusion of our study in the Book of Nehemiah, I thank God for what He has taught us about unity, forgiveness, faithfulness, obedience, courage, and rebuilding for His glory. It has been a rich and meaningful journey together.
Now, we would love to hear from you as we prayerfully consider our next teaching series. Please share your thoughts on which book you would like us to study next:
• Galatians
• Ephesians
• Philippians
Your input is valued, and we look forward to walking through God’s Word together in the season ahead.
Our ongoing EquipU series on what is a “Healthy Church” is extremely informative and helpful – be encouraged to be part of the teaching and learning in this regard.
As we move forward, let us continue to place our hope and trust in the Lord. No matter the weather, no matter the circumstances, God remains faithful. His promises never fail.
“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.” (Psalm 125:1)
May this truth strengthen your heart and encourage your faith this week.
Thank you for being such a loving, faithful, and Christ-centered church family. It is a joy and privilege to serve as your pastor.
With gratitude and love in Christ,
